6-Hour Point & Insurance Reduction Program (PIRP)
This course, also known as PIRP (Point and Insurance Reduction Program), is a comprehensive driver safety course that will not only qualify you for point reductions and insurance discounts, but also provide safe driving strategies that will help you avoid driving penalties and accidents as well.
* The New York DMV charges an $8 fee to submit your course completion electronically and update your driving record.

5-Hour Online Pre-Licensing Course (OPL Course)
This course is required for individuals, 18 years of age and older with a valid Class D learner permit that includes their photo, who want to apply for a full New York Driver’s License.
This course provides the knowledge and skills needed for safe, responsible driving. Taking the course online is the most convenient way to fulfill NY state requirements for first time drivers to schedule their road test at the DMV.
