This course is 100% online with no in-person requirements and meets the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV) requirements for pre-licensing. Successful completion of this course will be reported electronically to the NYSDMV within 48 hours of completion. After your completion is reported to the New York State DMV by American Safety, you may proceed with scheduling your road test. Passing the road test moves you into the final step, and the DMV will then mail your New York drivers license.
