Driving in Rain
As summer begins it is very important to watch for strong unexpected storms. If you are about to leave your house you should consider waiting until the storm passes if you are not on anytime constraints.
Why is driving in the rain so dangerous?
The main reason is because you lose your visibility of the cars in front of you, the road is not clear and stopping can be very difficult in the rain.
In our New York Defensive Driving Course we cover the topic of driving in the rain for more than 20 minutes just because car accidents increase considerable when it is raining. New York roads especially in the bigger cities are crowded and therefore this creates even more problems and higher crash rates.
